Perfect smoky eyes and 10 step skincare routines are great when you have the time to indulge your self. But how can you still look polished and feel good when you have about 10 minutes to spare in the morning before work.
Here are my Top 10 time saving products which will give you an extra snooze in the morning:
Mega quick moisturising – Nivea in shower rich body lotion skin conditioner. Recommended by my beauty therapist friend Lauren, this fab in shower moisturiser not only saves time but also means you can kiss goodbye to post body moisturising sticky skin.
Commute base – Loreal Paris Nude Magique cushion foundation. When you have zero time and need to do your make up on the commute, cushion foundations will come to your rescue. The only looks you’ll be getting on the tube will be those of envy.
No Make Up Brows & Lashes – Eylure Prolash & Probrow Dye kits. Tinting your Lashes & brows make sound like a pain but, trust me, it’s so worth it. If you go sans mascara because you’re in a rush, you’ll still look awake, rather than evoking the dreaded ‘you look tired’ comments.
Greasy roots – Batiste Dry shampoo. Is there any better hair rescue than a blast of dry shampoo in the morning to revive limp locks? Better still, use before you go to bed and you will wake with bouncy hair and get a few more precious minutes in bed. Coloured versions also help disguise grey roots.
Multitasker #1 Benefit Benetint Lip & Cheek stain. Shave minutes off your make up routine by choosing multi tasking items. Cult favourite Benetint will give you a rosy cheeks and subtle, bee stung lips in seconds.
Zero effort tanning. Clarins Radiance-Plus Golden Glow Booster. Feeling pasty? No time for a full fake tan? Add these powerful drops to your regular face cream and you’ll develop a natural sunkissed glow as the day goes on.
Multi tasker#2 Bronzer – Bourjois Delice de Poudre Bronzing Powder. Contouring will go out the window when you’re in a rush but a quick swish of bronzer high on the cheeks and across the bridge of the nose will give you a healthy, ‘spent the weekend on the beach’ glow.
Killer lipstick – Revlon Ultra HD Matte Liquid Lipstick. If you are so short on time then anything resembling a normal make up routine is totally out of the question. Instead go for bold, killer lips only. Pull your hair into a simple ponytail and even with your bare face, the lipstick will still help you look pulled together.
The primer – Nivea Post Shave Balm. It may be tempting to skip this step when in a rush, but it’s is false economy on your time. You’ll find yourself doing more touch ups on your lunch break instead of enjoying that caramel latte.
